HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne women's soccer team got their first win of 2026 in a big way on Sunday, defeating Concord 5-0.
The Bears out-shot the Mountain Lions 28-11 and held a 12-4 edge in shots-on-goal.

- Landry Boyles opened the scoring with the first goal of her career in the 12th minute.
- Mya Rivera fired in a shot off the pass from Aly Ramsey in the 19th minute, doubling LR's lead.
- Katie Durham, last year's leading scorer, capped off the first half with the her first goal of the season.
- Birthday girl Kennedy Flowers scored the fourth goal of her career in the 50th minute.
- Alexis Cagno became the first Bear to score multiple goals this season when she put one in the net in the 64th minute.
- The Bears tallied 14 shots in each half and won 11 corner kicks.
- This game was low on fouls, with just 11 combined in the entire contest.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- The Bears are 3-0 all-time over Concord.
- This was the first non-overtime victory for the Bears over the Mountain Lions, having won in extra time in both 2002 (3-2) and 2001 (4-3).
