Emmaleigh Allen reached a pinnacle few others at Lenoir-Rhyne have accomplished, reaching the 1000th kill mark in the third set of today's 3-0 sweep of Emory & Henry.
Allen, a former SAC Freshman and Scholar Athlete of the Year winner, now sits just 43 kills away from entering Lenoir-Rhyne's all-time top ten for career kills. In addition to her offensive accomplishments, Allen is just 83 digs away from 1000.

- Leading 17-13, an Emmaleigh Allen kill sparked an 8-1 run to close out set one.
- The Bears took control early in set two, getting out to a 9-2 lead.
- Lenoir-Rhyne closed on a 6-1 run thanks to kills from Allen, Brooke Aeschliman, and Lola Nolasco.
- Tied at 3-3, Allen got a pass from Camden Pasour and powered it over then net for her 1000th career kill.
- The Wasps kept this set close, taking a 9-8 lead on a Savannah Payne kill.
- Lenoir-Rhyne answered with an 11-2 run to essentially put the game away, eventually winning the set 25-16.
