Kathryn Geouge

Kathryn Geouge is entering her sixth year as a member of the staff of the Lenoir-Rhyne University Softball Team. Prior to this spring's season, Geouge was elevated to Associate Head Coach after serving as an assistant for two seasons (2015 and 2016) and a graduate assistant in 2013 and 2014.

In five years with the team, Lenoir-Rhyne has won three SAC Regular Season Championships (2012, 2014 and 2016) and has earned four berths to the NCAA Division II Playoffs (2012-14, 2016). The Bears also won the 2012 and 2013 league tournament championships and has compiled a 205-76 record.

Geouge graduated from Catawba College in May of 2010 with an undergraduate degree in physical education and earned her master's degree in public health at Lenoir-Rhyne in 2013.

Geouge, a four-year letterwinner in softball at Catawba (2007-10), started all 208 games in her collegiate career.

Geouge finished with a .308 batting average, 189 hits, 175 runs scored, 106 runs batted in and 18 home runs over her four-year span.

Geouge was also an Academic All-American and was a member of the South Atlantic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
