Lily Carpenter enters her first year on the Lenoir-Rhyne Women’s Lacrosse staff as an assistant coach. Carpenter was a four-year letter winner goalkeeper at McDaniel College and was an active member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
While at McDaniel, Carpenter compiled 417 saves and 2643 minutes logged earning her three Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and Centennial conference player of the week awards in 2015.
Prior to LR, Carpenter had two coaching stops at Skidmore College and Davidson College. At Skidmore from 2015-2017, Carpenter was an assistant coach responsible for goalkeepers and social media and graphic design. She coached two IWLCA All-America selection, three All-Region and 11 All-Conference Selections in the Liberty League Conference. During her next stop at Davidson from 2017-2019, she was in charge of goalkeepers and the defensive unit. She helped lead Davidson to Atlantic 10 tournament semifinal and helped coach the seven All-conference selections and the 1st team All-A10 Goalkeeper in 2018.
Carpenter graduated from McDaniel College in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Studio Art.
