McKenzie Gaghan joined the Lenoir-Rhyne staff as the Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach in the Fall of 2024.
Gaghan joins Lenoir-Rhyne after completing her Master of Science in Business Administration at Florida Southern College in 2024. She brings six years of coaching experience to her role. At Florida Southern, she was the 2023 South Regional Champion, reached the 2024 NCAA Quarterfinals, and was named the 2024 Sunshine State Conference Season Champion and Defensive Player of the Week. Before her tenure at Florida Southern, Gaghan played at East Stroudsburg University, where she was a two-time National Defensive Player of the Week from 2018 to 2022, named a 2022 All-American, and was a national championship runner up in 2022.
Gaghan earned her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Tourism Management in May of 2022. She is the daughter of Donald and Kathleen Gaghan and has three siblings, Kaitlin, Brendan and Shannon. She currently resides in Hickory, NC.
