Biography

Freshman (2019): Named the South Atlantic Conference co-Freshman of the Year, also selected to the First Team All-Conference. Scored 26 goals and had four assists for a 30 point season. Was second on the team with 53 draw controls and had 28 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers. Scored the game-winning goal against Wingate with 26 seconds left to play. Had three hat tricks with two games with four goals. 

High School: Attended Charlotte Latin High School. Lettered in field hockey, track, and lacrosse. Earned All-American and Academic All-American honors. Was a two-time All-State and All-Conference honoree.

Personal: Gia is from Waxhaw, North Carolina. Born September 30, 1999, to Juliann and Thomas Colombo.
