Hickory, N.C. ? The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women?s Tennis Team (0-6) fell to East Stroudsburg University (4-2), 7-2, in a non-conference fixture on Saturday afternoon.? Freshman Kelsey Love (Orange Park, Fla.) led the Bears with her singles victory in the number one spot as she got past Amanda Kaufman (Cherry Hill, N.J.), 6-4, 6-4.

Sophomore Mariel Mena earned the only other victory for L-R on the day as she defeated Amy McGrath (Marlton, N.J.), 8-5, in the number five singles spot her two singles wins on the season.

Junior Cathryn Jarrett (Salem, Va.) combined with Mena in the number three doubles contest but the tandem lost the close match by a score of 8-6.

L-R will return to action on Tuesday as it plays host to SAC-foe Mars Hill in a South Atlantic Conference match-up slated to begin at 2:00 p.m., in Hickory, N.C.
