Jefferson City, Tenn. - The Carson-Newman College Men's Soccer Team (3-5, 2-2) picked up a 2-1 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne University (3-5-1, 0-2) in South Atlantic Conference action Saturday evening at McCown Field.
The Eagles, who snapped a two-match losing streak, got second half goals from Tyson Adkinson (Franklin, Tenn.) and Daniel Zitt (Morristown, Tenn.) en route to the win.

Picton cut Carson-Newman's lead in half with his second goal of the year as he worked through several Eagle defenders for a score at the 84:42 mark of the match but the Bears couldn't get any closer.
Carson-Newman goalkeeper Michael Alley (Kingsport, Tenn.) picked up the win after allowing just one goal while stopping seven shots.
