Anderson, S.C. - The Anderson University Women's Tennis Team (7-3, 5-1) handed Lenoir-Rhyne University (0-8, 0-4) an 8-1 loss Saturday afternoon in a South Atlantic Conference contest at Max Grubbs Courts.

The Bears lone win came at first singles when junior Emily Mauser (Hickory, N.C.) defeated the Trojans' Camie Beaulieu-Brune (Montreal, CANADA) by a score of 6-4, 4-6, 10-8.

Lenoir-Rhyne returns to the court on Monday at 1:00 p.m., when the Bears face South Atlantic Conference-foe Newberry in Newberry, S.C.

L-R also plays Pfeiffer in Misenheimer, N.C., on Tuesday beginning at 2 p.m.
