Belmont, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women's Tennis Team (2-11) picked up its second win of the year after shutting out Belmont Abbey College (0-13), 9-0,?Friday afternoon at Sacred Heart Courts.

Juniors Emily Mauser (Hickory, N.C.) and Lizzie Warlick (Statesville, N.C.) and sophomore Kelsey Love (Port Orange, Fla.) all picked up wins at singles and doubles for the Bears.

In addition, Lenoir-Rhyne snapped a three-match losing streak and picked up its second road win of the year as well.

Lenoir-Rhyne steps back into South Atlantic Conference play on Sunday when it travels to Jefferson City, Tenn., to face Carson-Newman beginning at 1:00 p.m.

L-R's next home match takes place on Tuesday when it battles SAC-power Lincoln Memorial at Hickory High School beginning at 2:00 p.m.
