Lenoir-Rhyne University junior Sarah Minick scored a team-high four goals in a 21-8 loss to fourth-ranked Rollins College Thursday night at Barker Family Stadium in Winter Park, Fla.

Winter Park, Fla. - The fourth-ranked Rollins Women's Lacrosse Team (10-0) remained perfect on the season with a 21-8 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne (8-3) Thursday at Cahall-Sandspur Field and Barker Family Stadium.? The setback also ended the Bears' seven-match winning streak in the process.

The Tars' Erica Pagliarulo (Winchester, Mass.) led all scorers with six goals while Sophie Townsend (Ocean City, Md.) added four goals to lead Rollins to the victory.

For Lenoir-Rhyne, junior Sarah Minick (Marietta, Ga.) tallied a team-high four goals while freshman Mary Minick (Marietta, Ga.) scored twice despite the loss.? Sarah Minick now has a team-leading 34 goals on the year.

Rollins raced to a 5-0 lead just over five minutes into the match and never looked back en route to the win.

The Tars, which took a 14-5 advantage into halftime, also held the edge in shots taken (44-14) and ground balls (25-19) on the night.

In goal, Rollins' Elyse De Lisle (Windemere, Fla.) stopped four shots in picking up the win while Lenoir-Rhyne freshman Allison Senft (Marietta, Ga.) suffered the loss despite tallying 17 saves in the contest.

Lenoir-Rhyne faces Florida Southern on Saturday in Lakeland, Fla., beginning at Noon.? Meanwhile, Rollins takes on St. Leo on Wednesday in Saint Leo, Fla., at 7:00 p.m.
