Charlotte, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Swimming Team finished second at the Wingate Quad Meet which concluded Saturday at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center.

On the women's side, ninth-ranked Wingate finished with 750 points and was followed by Lenoir-Rhyne (381), Catawba (250) and Limestone (223).

Sophomore Alyx Koert (Naples, Fla.) had one of the women's team's top performances on the day: sixth place in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:07.03).

The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Swimming Team next competes in the Wingate Fall Frenzy – also at the Mecklenburg County Aquatics Center in Charlotte, N.C. – on Friday, November 18, through Sunday, November 20.
