Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Lacrosse Team (2-2) earned its second straight victory, 11-6 over Saint Leo (0-1) Saturday afternoon at Moretz Stadium.
Lenoir-Rhyne was led by sophomore midfielder Aubriana Benedetto (Rochester, N.Y.) with a match-high four goals while sophomore attacker Brooke Ouderkirk (Syracuse, N.Y.) scored three times in the victory.
In addition, goalkeeper Ines Flueck (Coppell, Texas) tallied eight saves in the victory for the Bears.
For Saint Leo, Allie Sheftall (Austin, Texas) scored twice while Rebecca Halley (Sanford, Fla.) tallied seven saves in goal despite the loss.
Lenoir-Rhyne hosts Regis (Colorado) on Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m., while Saint Leo plays Belmont Abbey on Tuesday in Belmont, N.C., beginning at 2:00 p.m.
