Aiken, S.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne University Volleyball Team (2-6) split its two matches Saturday on the final day of the USC Aiken Invitational at the Convocation Center.

Lenoir-Rhyne junior outside hitter Brooke Redmond (Statesville, N.C.) led the way with 19 kills and 10 digs while freshman defensive specialist Anna Smith (Harmony, N.C.) tallied a double-double – 12 assists and 10 digs – as well as the Bears broke a one-all tie by winning the third and fourth sets.
Lenoir-Rhyne also snapped a five-match losing streak with the victory over Mount Olive.
Mount Olive's Mi'Kayla Benson (Palestine, Texas) finished with 18 kills but the Bears limited the Trojans to just a .026 hitting percentage in the match.

The Pacers improved to 7-1 on the season after defeating the Bears in four sets. USC Aiken's Taylor Stratton (Chesapeake, Va.) finished with a match-high 20 kills and Julie Forster (Long Island, N.Y.) totaled 14 kills and 18 digs in the victory.
Redmond tallied 11 kills, a team-high, and Smith and junior setter Kathryn Sizemore (Asheville, N.C.) each finished with 14 assists but the Bears hit just .068 for the match.
