Hartsville, S.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team (11-6, 7-4) made it three victories in a row with a 61-42 win over Coker (3-13, 2-9) Wednesday evening in a South Atlantic Conference game at the DeLoach Center.
Three players scored in double figures for the Bears – led by senior center
Chelsey Romero (Hampton, Va.) with 13 points – and Lenoir-Rhyne's defense continued its impressive play this season.
Lenoir-Rhyne limited Coker to just 39 percent shooting (16-of-41) for the night and forced the Cobras into 19 turnovers in the victory.

Brooke Robinson (Vale, N.C.) added 12 points and sophomore forward
Madi Suddreth (Taylorsville, N.C.) scored 11 points as the Bears held a 31-20 advantage at halftime and never looked back.
For Coker, Kendra Lambert (Palmyra, Ind.) scored a team-high 12 points but was lone player to reach double figures for the Cobras. Lenoir-Rhyne also held a 33-24 advantage on the boards and handed Coker its third straight setback.
Lenoir-Rhyne travels to Brevard, N.C., to face Brevard in a league game Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Coker, meanwhile, hosts Lincoln Memorial Saturday at 2:00 p.m., as well.
