Pembroke, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Football Team (3-5) suffered a 14-10 setback to UNC Pembroke (2-6) Saturday afternoon at Grace P. Johnson Stadium. The victory snapped the Braves' five-game losing streak.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• UNC Pembroke's Miles Grant (Rockingham, N.C.) scored the game-winning touchdown on a 40-yard run with 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Grant finished with a game-high 100 yards rushing.
• Lenoir-Rhyne sophomore running back
Nelson Brown (Salisbury, Md.) scored his team-leading eighth touchdown of the year and led the Bears with 59 yards on the ground.
• The Braves held a 355-209 edge in total yards and forced the Bears into three turnovers. UNC Pembroke's JoJo Spann (McDonough, Ga.) caught a 35-yard touchdown pass and finished with six receptions for 93 yards.

Quentin Hayes (Powder Springs, Ga.) and sophomore linebacker
Sherrod Williams (Edison, Ga.) finished with 13 and 11 tackles, respectively. The Bears also forced two turnovers.
