Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Soccer Battles Anderson To 1-1 Tie After Two Overtimes

Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne University Men's Soccer Team (5-2-3, 2-2-2) took Anderson (5-5-1, 2-3-1) to double overtime but the contest ended in a 1-1 tie Saturday night in a South Atlantic Conference match at home.

•    Both goals were scored in the first seven minutes of the match – Lenoir-Rhyne senior forward Kevin Nadeau (Morganton, N.C.) at the 3:05 mark and Anderson's Colin Burris (Milton, Ga.) at the 6:40 mark of the first half – before the contest remained scoreless the rest of the way.
•    Lenoir-Rhyne held a 21-15 edge in shots taken.
•    The Bears' senior goalkeeper, Zach King (Altamonte Springs, Fla.), made seven saves on the night.
