Winston-Salem, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team (2-2) moved back to .500 on the year with a 73-69 win over Winston-Salem State (1-2) Wednesday evening in the Bears' first road contest of the season at the C.E. Gaines Center.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Lenoir-Rhyne was led by junior guard
Madi Suddreth (Taylorsville, N.C.) and freshman guard Kennedy Weigt (Manteno, Ill.) with 22 points each. Weigt added six treys in just 25 minutes of action off the bench.
• Four players scored in double figures for the Lady Rams – led by Briana Arnold (Raleigh, N.C.) with 14 points – while Winston-Salem State held a 43-33 edge in rebounding despite the loss.
• The Bears limited the Lady Rams to just 23 percent shooting (three-of-13) from behind the three-point line and forced the home team into 16 turnovers.

• Suddreth continues to lead the team at 18.5 points per game.
