Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team (3-3) scored its most points in 11 years with a 98-80 victory over Lees-McRae (1-3) Saturday afternoon in a non-conference regional contest at Shuford Memorial Gymnasium.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Lenoir-Rhyne junior guard
Madi Suddreth (Taylorsville, N.C.) was the catalyst for the Bears, scoring a career-high 35 points in addition to 10 rebounds and five assists. Suddreth scored 18 points in the first quarter.
• Lenoir-Rhyne led by 29 points at halftime – 52-23 – but Lees-McRae kept the game relatively close thanks to its three-point prowess. The Bobcats hit 16 three-pointers and were led by Karli Mason (Monroe, N.C.) with eight treys and 24 points.
• Senior guard
Cassidy Joyner (Dobson, N.C.) finished with 17 points and six rebounds as well for the Bears, who shot 50 percent (38-of-76) for the game.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• The Bears' 98 points were a season-high and the most points scored by Lenoir-Rhyne since a 98-89 triumph over Ashland during the 2006-07 campaign.
