Hartsville, S.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team (4-3, 1-1) made it two straight victories with a 79-68 road triumph over Coker (2-4, 0-1) Wednesday evening in a South Atlantic Conference game at the DeLoach Center.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Lenoir-Rhyne was paced once again by junior forward
Madi Suddreth (Taylorsville, N.C.). Suddreth, who leads the Bears in scoring (20.4 points per game), finished with 22 points on 11-of-15 shooting from the field.
• In addition, freshman guard
Kennedy Weigt (Manteno, Ill.) scored 14 points and hit four treys (all in the first half) while junior guard
Kendall Toineeta (Cherokee, N.C.) added 11 points and nine assists in the contest for the Bears.
• The Cobras were led by Iresha Cooper (Hemingway, S.C.) with 20 points but Coker hit just two-of-20 attempts – 10 percent – from behind the three-point line.
• The Bears – clinging to a 63-61 lead with 6:18 left in the final period – broke the contest open with a 15-2 run over the next five-plus minutes of action.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Lenoir-Rhyne won back-to-back games for the first time this season.
• The Bears lead the all-time series with the Cobras, 8-2.

Lenoir-Rhyne returns home to host Anderson in a South Atlantic Conference game on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., at Shuford Memorial Gymnasium. Coker hosts Southern Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon beginning at 2:00 p.m., as well.
