Charlotte, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte Volleyball Team (19-6, 13-5) kept its grip on third place in the South Atlantic Conference standings with a 3-0 sweep of Lenoir-Rhyne (10-13, 6-11) Saturday afternoon at the Levine Center and Curry Arena. The Royals swept the Bears by scores of 25-13, 28-26 and 25-18.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
• The Royals were led by Jordan Proszenyak (Lake in the Hills, Ill.) with 11 kills while Sydney Kunz (Germantown, Wis.) added 43 assists and eight digs in the victory.
• Lenoir-Rhyne senior outside hitter
Brooke Redmond (Statesville, N.C.) finished with a match-high 12 kills while freshman outside hitter
Taylor Prall (Tipp City, Ohio) added six kills and six digs in the losing effort.
• Queens totaled 11 service aces and limited the Bears to just a .167 hitting percentage. Lenoir-Rhyne did manage nine blocks in the contest.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Queens swept the season series from Lenoir-Rhyne and handed the Bears their third consecutive loss.
