Mars Hill, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne University Volleyball Team (10-14, 6-12) suffered its fourth straight setback with a 3-1 defeat to Mars Hill (11-15, 9-10) Tuesday evening in a South Atlantic Conference match at Stanford Arena. The Lions won by scores of 20-25, 25-19, 25-22 and 25-16.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
• Mars Hill's Rebecca Butler (Bradenton, Fla.) and Maddie Spurgeon (Waxhaw, N.C.) both finished with 13 kills each while Butler added 26 digs for the double-double.
• Lenoir-Rhyne senior outside hitter
Brooke Redmond (Statesville, N.C.) finished with a double-double – 17 kills and 19 digs – while freshman outside hitter
Taylor Prall (Tipp City, Ohio) added 16 kills in the setback.

Maggie Bogart (Shawnee, Kan.) totaled 30 assists and 21 digs as well for the Bears, who added nine blocks as a team.

• The Lions swept the season series from the Bears and picked up their fourth consecutive victory.
