Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team (8-6, 2-4) fell to Lincoln Memorial (7-5, 3-3) by a 72-58 score on Saturday afternoon in a South Atlantic Conference game at Shuford Memorial Gymnasium.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• The Lady Railsplitters were led by Qua Hines (Gatlinburg, Tenn.) with a game-high 15 points and seven rebounds while Ross Mathis (Greer, S.C.) also scored in double figures – 11 points – in the victory.

Cassidy Joyner (Dobson, N.C.) added a game-high 15 points and three treys as well for the Bears, who shot just nine-of-32 in the second half.
• Trailing by a 31-29 margin at halftime, Lincoln Memorial opened the second half by scoring the first eleven points and holding Lenoir-Rhyne scoreless until the 2:30 mark of the third period.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Lenoir-Rhyne totaled nine three-pointers on the day including four treys from freshman guard
Kennedy Weigt (Manteno, Ill.), who scored a dozen points.

Lenoir-Rhyne next hosts Catawba while Lincoln Memorial returns home to take on Anderson. Both games take place on Wednesday night beginning at 6:00 p.m. The Bears will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak.
