Hickory, N.C. – The Lincoln Memorial Baseball Team (10-12, 4-3) took advantage of six errors to down Lenoir-Rhyne (14-7, 3-4), 7-4, in a South Atlantic Conference weekend series opener Friday evening at Bears Field.
The Railsplitters' Russell Clark (Wexford, Pa.) finished with two hits and two runs batted in including a RBI double as five of Lincoln Memorial's seven runs were unearned.

Alex Reynolds (Kings Mountain, N.C.) finished with three hits and a RBI while junior outfielder
Marcus Shoemaker (Colfax, N.C.) added a run-scoring double as the Bears couldn't hold a 2-0 lead.
Lincoln Memorial's Brandon Jean (Franklin, Tenn.) pitched into the seventh inning and improved to 2-3 on the year after picking up the victory while Dominic Morabito (Vienna, Va.) pitched a scoreless ninth inning for the save.
