Wingate, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne University Men's Lacrosse Team (5-1, 3-0), ranked No. 14 in NCAA Division II, held on to defeat Wingate (4-2, 1-1), 10-9, Saturday afternoon in a South Atlantic Conference showdown at Graham Gill Field.

Eric Dickinson (Charlotte, N.C.) led all scorers with five goals – giving him a league-leading 25 on the year – as the Bears also won their 11th consecutive conference regular season contest dating back to 2015.
Lenoir-Rhyne senior attacker
Mike Hanlon (Haymarket, Va.) added a pair of goals and three assists as the Bears escaped with the victory. Hanlon has a league-leading 19 assists on the year.
Wingate was led by Jeremy Sullivan (Crofton, Md.) with three goals as the Bulldogs tried to rally from a 9-5 deficit in the fourth period but came up short.

Ben Corrigan (Alpharetta, Ga.) added a pair of scores while junior
Ryan Crompton (Frederick, Md.) earned the win in goal after making eight saves on the day.
Wingate's goalkeeper, Will Sheridan (Woodstock, Ga.), took the loss despite making 20 saves on the afternoon. Sheridan helped keep the contest close as the Bears held a 44-28 advantage in shots taken.
Lenoir-Rhyne hits the road to take on Young Harris in Young Harris, Ga., on Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m., while Wingate faces league-foe Lincoln Memorial on Saturday, March 18, at 1:00 p.m., in Harrogate, Tenn.
