Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Team (6-1, 4-0), ranked No. 12 in NCAA Division II, won its sixth straight game with a 12-11 overtime victory over Tusculum (5-2, 1-1) Saturday afternoon at Moretz Stadium.

Eric Dickinson (Charlotte, N.C.) scored the game-winner 45 seconds into overtime as the Bears won their second straight one-goal league contest. Dickinson scored twice on the afternoon and has a conference-leading 27 goals on the year.
Lenoir-Rhyne senior attacker
Mike Hanlon (Haymarket, Va.) led all scorers with five goals and now leads the SAC in both assists (20) and total points (40) as the Bears rallied from a 10-8 deficit entering the fourth period to take the victory. Hanlon forced overtime with a goal with 3:36 remaining in the final stanza.
Tusculum's Ben Boyd (Bel Air, Md.) finished with a team-high four goals while Liam Macdonald (Coquitlam, British Columbia) added three scores as the Pioneers' upset bid came up short.

Ryan Crompton (Frederick, Md.) totaled 14 saves in the victory while Tusculum's Kevin Haggerty (Suffern, N.Y.) took the loss despite stopping 16 shots. The shots were nearly even with the Bears holding a slim 45-43 advantage and ran their winning streak in conference regular season play to 12 games.
Lenoir-Rhyne faces Young Harris in a make-up contest on Tuesday, March 21, at 4:00 p.m., in Young Harris, Ga., while Tusculum hosts Catawba next Saturday, March 25, at 3:30 p.m.
