Anderson, S.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team (10-9, 4-7) made it two straight South Atlantic Conference victories – both on the road – Saturday afternoon in a 56-51 triumph over Anderson (12-7, 6-5) at the Abney Athletic Center.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Four players scored in double figures for the Bears – led by senior guard
Cassidy Joyner (Dobson, N.C.) with 13 points – as Lenoir-Rhyne avenged a loss to Anderson at home in early December.

Kendall Toineeta (Cherokee, N.C.) added 12 points for the Bears, who limited the Trojans to just 22 percent shooting from the three-point line (five-for-22) and 31 percent (17-of-54) for the game.
• Anderson's Alexy Mollenhauer (Lindale, Texas) tallied a double-double – 16 points and 11 rebounds – but was the lone player to score in double figures for the Trojans, who lost their second straight contest.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Lenoir-Rhyne was able to win despite Anderson's 47-25 edge on the boards.
• The Bears snapped an 11-game losing streak to the Trojans dating back to the 2012-13 season.
• Lenoir-Rhyne held a 23-12 edge in points off the bench as junior guard
Ashley Rodriguez (Orlando, Fla.) and sophomore forward
Karlie Bearden (Dawsonville, Ga.) added 11 and 10 points, respectively, as reserves this afternoon.
