STATS OF THE GAME:
•    The scoring for both teams came primarily in the post as junior forward Madi Suddreth (Taylorsville, N.C.) and sophomore forward Karlie Bearden (Dawsonville, Ga.) led the Bears with 13 points and 11 points, respectively.  No other members of the home team ended with double-digit scoring.  Bearden also tallied 10 boards to complete the double-double.
•    The leading scorer of the contest was the only player in double-figures for the Wolves - junior center Meg Essex (Glamorgan Vale, Queensland, AUSTRALIA) - who finished with a double-double effort of 19 points and 10 boards.
•   It was a battle of the bigs as the leading scorers on both teams came from the post.  However, it was the Bears that held the 42-27 advantage on the boards throughout the contest.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
•    With the loss, the Bears' win streak ends at four games.
•    Bearden's role has increased as the season has progressed, paying off for her tonight as she finished with a season-high of 26 minutes tonight played.  Bearden also had season-highs as well in field goals made (four), field goals attempted (11), rebounds (10) and steals (two).
•    The defense held up, giving up the least this season on the scoreboard, but they were also held to the lowest scoring output themselves.
