Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Baseball Team (7-2) took control from the start on its way to a dominating 13-2 win over Limestone (5-3) Wednesday evening at Bears Field.

STATS OF THE GAME:
•    Lenoir-Rhyne took control early with a five-run first inning then broke the contest open after plating seven runs in the seventh frame.
•    Three players – junior first baseman Alex Reynolds (Kings Mountain, N.C.), junior outfielder Aaron Stamper (Clemmons, N.C.) and redshirt freshman third baseman Will Jones (Clayton, N.C.) – all drove in three runs for the Bears.
•    Lenoir-Rhyne junior Clayton Jeffries (Lakeland, Fla.) (1-0) picked up his first win of the year after allowing just one run while striking out three batters in five innings of work for the Bears.
•    Zach Piazza (Huntingtown, Md.) and Chase Allen (Sharpsburg, Ga.) hit solo home runs for the Saints.
