Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Baseball Team (8-2) kept its offense in full throttle with a 23-3 win over Goldey-Beacom (0-1) Saturday afternoon at Bears Field.

Corbin Watson (Eden, N.C.) hit a three-run home run while redshirt freshman second baseman
Brock Johnson (Granite Falls, N.C.) added three hits and five runs batted in to lead the Bears' 22-hit attack.
• The Bears took control early, scoring five runs in the bottom of the first frame and leading by a 9-1 score after three innings of work.

Connor Dailey (Rutherfordton, N.C.) (1-0) earned the win in middle relief for the Bears.
