STATS OF THE GAME (Game 1):
•    Limestone scored single runs in the second and third innings – just enough offense – to take the first contest.  Sydney Turner (Cumming, Ga.) had a run-scoring single in the third frame.
•    Lenoir-Rhyne's lone run came in the fourth inning courtesy of freshman third baseman Talon LaClair's (Statesville, N.C.) RBI single.
•    On the pitcher's mound, LR junior Brandi Parks (Roaring River, N.C.) (4-3) was tagged with the loss while Courtney Smith (Bluffton, S.C.) (4-0) stayed unbeaten on the year after picking up the win.  Both pitchers went the distance.

STATS OF THE GAME (Game 2):
•    LaClair came through again for the Bears, singling down the third base line – scoring sophomore pinch runner Ashten Hinkle (Capron, Va.) – with two outs in the top of the seventh inning for the lone score of the contest.
•    Lenoir-Rhyne junior Emily Kenley (Charlotte, N.C.) improved to 6-1 after throwing a two-hit, four-strikeout shutout.  Josie Weber (Stanley, N.C.) (3-4) was the hard-luck loser for the Saints.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
•    Lenoir-Rhyne saw its eight-game winning streak come to an end.
