Hickory, N.C. – The Mount Olive Women's Lacrosse Team (3-1) used a late run to down Lenoir-Rhyne (0-2), 11-7, Saturday afternoon in an NCAA Division II contest at Moretz Stadium.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Jackie Kaderabek (Annapolis, Md.) scored four times while Kiara Burke (East Patchogue, N.Y.) added three goals for the Trojans, who took control after scoring the final three goals in the last 3:21 to take the win.
• Lenoir-Rhyne was led once again by sophomore attacker
Cathleen Gaffney (Allentown, Pa.) with three goals and junior attacker
Gabby Sousa (Delran, N.J.) scored twice but the Bears were held scoreless over the first 22 minutes of the second half.
• Lenoir-Rhyne goalkeeper
Ines Flueck (Coppell, Texas), an All-American two years ago, stopped 11 shots while Mount Olive's Samantha Thomson (Coquitlam, Canada) played the second half and earned the victory. Thomson made five saves.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Gaffney has three goals in each of the first two contests for the Bears and leads the team with six scores.

Lenoir-Rhyne remains at home to take on Newberry in the South Atlantic Conference opener on Wednesday beginning at 4:00 p.m. Mount Olive takes on Wingate on the road on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m., as well.
