Augusta, Ga. – The Lenoir-Rhyne University Softball Team (21-4), ranked No. 12 in NCAA Division II, ran its winning streak to 11 games with a doubleheader sweep of Augusta (5-17), 10-2 and 6-1, Wednesday afternoon in a regional affair at Jaguar Field.

STATS OF THE GAME (Game 1):
• Lenoir-Rhyne junior outfielder
Erin Boone (Creedmoor, N.C.) and freshman first baseman
Kylee Leonhardt (Lincolnton, N.C.) both hit home runs to lead the Bears to the win.
• Leonhardt's round-tripper was a two-run shot as part of a three-run fifth frame to help the Bears run-rule the Jaguars. Leonhardt finished with three runs batted in and was one of four players to register at least two hits in the contest for the Bears. Boone also drove in two runs.
• On the mound, junior
Brandi Parks (Roaring River, N.C.) improved to 9-3 on the year after earning the win while Augusta's Morgan Hunter (Richmond Hill, Ga.) fell to 3-8 after taking the loss.
STATS OF THE GAME (Game 2):
• Holding a 1-0 advantage, Lenoir-Rhyne put the contest away with a four-run third frame. The Bears were aided by five Jaguars' errors in the contest which led to four unearned runs.

Christina Walker (Roxboro, N.C.) each drove in runs for the Bears while Boone finished with three hits for the contest.
• Lenoir-Rhyne junior
Emily Kenley (Charlotte, N.C.) won her 11th straight game and improved to 11-1 on the year after allowing just one run with five strikeouts in the complete game victory. Augusta's Jada Jackson (Warner Robins, Ga.) fell to 1-3 after suffering the loss.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Lenoir-Rhyne is 19-1 in its last 20 games.
