Young Harris, Ga. – The Young Harris Baseball Team (11-11) hit a walk-off two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to take a 7-6 win over Lenoir-Rhyne (17-9) Wednesday afternoon at Zell B. Miller Field.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• The Mountain Lions' Cory Ewald (Colorado Springs, Colo.) hit the game-winning, two-run home run and finished with three runs batted in. Young Harris' Logan Worley (Griffin, Ga.) also drove in three runs.

Aaron Stamper (Clemmons, N.C.) hit a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning. Stamper and junior designated hitter
Matthew Freeman (Belews Creek, N.C.) both drove in two runs for the Bears despite the loss.

Landon Whitson (Marion, N.C.), the reigning SAC Pitcher of the Week, fell to 2-1 after taking the loss. Young Harris' Steven Eichhorn (Aptos, Calif.) (1-1) was credited with the win.

• Stamper has hit a home run in consecutive games – his third round-tripper in the last five contests – and is tied for the team lead with four.
