Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Lacrosse Team (3-6, 3-0) stayed at the top of the South Atlantic Conference standings with a 20-9 victory over Tusculum (2-7, 0-1) Sunday afternoon at Moretz Stadium.

• Lenoir-Rhyne sophomore attacker
Cathleen Gaffney (Allentown, Pa.) led the way with five goals and four assists while sophomore midfielder
Kaley Harris (Havre de Grace, Md.) added four scores as the Bears broke open a close contest by scoring eight straight goals over both halves to take the win.
• Tusculum's Emily Gleason (Brentwood, Tenn.) and Juliette Cusano (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) both scored three times but the Pioneers lost their fifth straight game.
• Holding a 9-7 advantage with 6:54 left in the first half, the Bears reeled off eight consecutive scores to turn the contest into a rout.
