Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Team (5-1), ranked No. 6 in NCAA Division II, bounced back from its first loss of the year six days ago with a 14-12 triumph over Florida Tech (1-3) Friday evening at Moretz Stadium.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• The Bears were able to rally from a 3-0 deficit just over seven minutes into the contest to take the win.
• Lenoir-Rhyne was led by senior midfielder
Ben Corrigan (Alpharetta, Ga.) and junior attacker
Joe Buduo (Shrewsbury, Mass.) with four goals each in the victory. Corrigan's goal just 24 seconds into the second period broke a four-all tie and proved to be the match-winner.
• Florida Tech's Justin Williams (Forest Hill, Md.) scored four goals as well as the Panthers cut the deficit to one goal twice – 6-5 and 10-9 – but Lenoir-Rhyne was able to hold on for the win.
• Lenoir-Rhyne senior goalkeeper
Ryan Crompton (Frederick, Md.) earned the win after stopping 15 shots while Florida Tech's Daniel Flock (Ellicott City, Md.) suffered the loss despite 11 saves.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Buduo has a team-leading 19 goals on the year while Crompton added to his all-time saves lead with 372 after today's performance on the Bears' career list.
• Lenoir-Rhyne's four-game home stand has come to an end.
