Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Tennis Team (11-4, 2-2) snapped a two-match losing streak with an 8-1 win over Carson-Newman (2-8, 0-4) Friday afternoon at the YMCA of Catawba Valley.

The following Bears picked up victories at singles and doubles competition on the day:  senior Tomas Hons (Valasske Mezirici, CZECH REPUBLIC), junior Hamed Gandouz (Hammam Sousse, TUNISIA) and sophomores Tales Miranda (Sao Paulo, BRAZIL) and Paul Lenz (Ratingen, GERMANY).

Lenoir-Rhyne remains at home to take on Newberry in a league contest Wednesday afternoon beginning at 2:00 p.m., while Carson-Newman hosts league-foe Coker Sunday starting at 1:00 p.m.
