Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Team (10-1, 4-0), ranked No. 3 in NCAA Division II, defeated Newberry (4-6, 0-3) by a 17-4 score on Saturday afternoon in a South Atlantic Conference game at Moretz Stadium.

Eddie Schoenig (Brewster, N.Y.) added six stops in the last stanza for the Bears while Newberry's Erick Szurley (Holbrook, N.Y.) took the loss in goal. Szurley made seven saves on the afternoon.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Lenoir-Rhyne has won 20 straight South Atlantic Conference regular season games dating back three years and has won 33 of their last 37 contests dating back to the start of the 2016 campaign.
• Ten players found the back of the net for the Bears.
