Salisbury, N.C. – The No. 3 Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Team (13-1, 6-0) turned up the offense in a 20-11 road victory over Catawba (5-7, 3-3) Wednesday evening in a South Atlantic Conference game at Kirkland Field and Shuford Stadium. Lenoir-Rhyne also won its ninth straight contest.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Lenoir-Rhyne took control early, jumping out to a 7-1 advantage in the first period and never looked back. The Bears never let their lead get under four goals the rest of the way.
• The Bears were spearheaded by the duo of junior attacker
Joe Buduo (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and senior midfielder
Ben Corrigan (Alpharetta, Ga.). Buduo scored a half-dozen times while Corrigan added four goals and four assists as Lenoir-Rhyne also dominated the shot chart, holding a 55-33 edge.
• Catawba's Justin Warnock (Jamestown, N.C.) scored three times but the deficit was too great to overcome for the home team. The Indians' Hunter Cheuvront (Baltimore, Md.) suffered the setback in goal despite making 15 saves.
• For Lenoir-Rhyne, senior goalkeeper
Ryan Crompton (Frederick, Md.) earned the victory after totaling seven stops as 10 Bears found the back of the net.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Buduo is now the Bears' all-time single-season leader in goals scored (52) and total points (72). Buduo leads the league in total scores.
• Lenoir-Rhyne set the school single-season record for victories (13) tonight and has now won 22 consecutive South Atlantic Conference Regular Season contests.
• In their last 40 games, the Bears are 36-4 overall; a record which dates back to the start of the 2016 campaign.
