Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Lacrosse Team (6-7, 6-0) stayed perfect in the South Atlantic Conference standings with a 14-4 victory over Lincoln Memorial (6-6, 1-4) Saturday afternoon on Senior Day at Moretz Stadium.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Lenoir-Rhyne junior attacker
Gabby Sousa (Delran, N.J.) led all scorers with four goals as the Bears used a 12-1 run over both halves to take complete control of the contest.
• Three players – sophomore attacker
Cathleen Gaffney (Allentown, Pa.), junior midfielder
Rachel Elmore (White Plains, Md.) and sophomore midfielder
Michelle Tang (Calgary, Alberta, CANADA) – all scored three goals as well for the Bears, who held edge in shots taken (27-20) and ground balls (15-13).
• Lenoir-Rhyne senior goalkeeper
Ines Flueck (Coppell, Texas) earned the win after stopping nine shots while Lincoln Memorial's Shannon Novak (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.) suffered the loss in goal despite eight saves. In addition, the Lady Railsplitters' Amara Moss (Woodbridge, Va.) scored twice.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• The Bears need one more win to clinch at least a share of their first-ever South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Championship.
• Sousa and Elmore rank first and second on the team in goals scored with 44 and 34, respectively.
