MARS HILL, N.C. - On the final day of the South Atlantic Conference/Peach Belt Conference Crossover weekend, Lenoir-Rhyne earned a split. The Bears fell to USC Aiken in the opener before recovering to top Georgia College in the finale.
GAME ONE:
Final: USC Aiken 3, Lenoir-Rhyne 1

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- USC Aiken, who had won 16 straight before losing to Carson-Newman yesterday, proved to be too strong for the Bears. LR would battle tough, dropping the first two sets 25-23 and 25-22. LR rallied to take set three 25-20 but fell in the deciding fourth set, 25-20.
- Hannah Houston was LR's leader in kills, posting 12 in the match. Ashley Hawkins was tremendous for the Bears once again, recording a team-high 23 digs.
- Alannah Thomas added nine kills for the Bears and Madison Asher had eight. The Pacers were led by 13 kills from Allie Smith.
GAME TWO:
Final: Lenoir-Rhyne 3, Georgia College 0

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- The Bears dispatched of the Bobcats thanks to a weekend-best .252 hitting percentage as a team. Taylor Prall was the leader for the Bears, recording 11 kills and hitting .333.
- Prall added 11 digs for a double-double and teammate Rachel Bewick also finished with 11 digs.
- Mackenzie Hulsey had a team-high 22 assists and Selena Scudder added 12.
UP NEXT:
The Bears will continue a nine-game road trip on Friday when they travel to Anderson. The Trojans handed LR a 3-1 loss on September 27.
