ANDERSON, S.C. –  The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team fell to Anderson in straight sets. With the win, Anderson remains in second place in the conference standings. 

INSIDE THE MATCHUP:

STATS OF THE MATCH:
•   Hannah Houston and Alannah Thomas each had seven kills to lead the Bears who hit .096 as a team. Ashley Hawkins led LR with 21 digs and Selena Scudder paced the Bears with 14 assists.
•   Regan Duty had a match-high nine kills and Emily Conlin handed out 33 assists. 
•   Anderson hit .250 as a squad and had just nine errors, compared to 21 by LR. Anderson also held a 5-2 advantage in service aces and blocks.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
•    The Bears have now dropped seven straight to Anderson. LR swept Anderson in 2015 but haven't found the win column since. 
•    This marks the seventh straight game away from home for the Bears as the enter the final stretch of a nine-game road swing.
