NEWBERRY, S.C. – For the first time since 2015, the Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team went to Newberry and came away victorious. The Bears topped Newberry 3-1 thanks to a strong 7-block perfromance from
Madison Asher and a double-double by
Taylor Prall.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
• After dropping the first set, Lenoir-Rhyne battled back to win the final three frames. LR won by scores of 25-19, 25-19 and 25-20 to top the Wolves.
• Colette set a career-high with her eight kills on the afternoon as the freshman came off the bench to hit .333 and add three blocks and a dig for the best game in her young career.
• Prall finished with 16 kills and 16 digs to go with a .382 hitting percentage. It was the seventh double-double of the season for the junior.

Mackenzie Hulsey added a double-double with 19 assists and 12 digs.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
• Prall continues to lead the conference in kills with 258.
• This marks the eighth straight game away from home for the Bears as the enter the final stretch of a nine-game road swing.
