HICKORY, N.C. –  The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team fell to SAC powerhouse Wingate 3-0 Saturday afternoon in Shuford Gymnasium. The loss closed out the 2019 regular season for the Bears who now turn their attention to the SAC Tournament on Tuesday.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
•   Junior Taylor Prall finished with 13 kills and added nine digs.
•   Sophie Schaff led Bulldogs with 16 kills.
•   Sophomore Helen Hamilton also notched 16 assists, eight digs and five kills.
•   Sophomore Ashley Hawkins led the Bears in digs with 10.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
•    Prall sits just nine kills away from the 400 mark on the season. Just one player in the last 12 years has topped 400 kills and that was Brooke Redmond with 401 in 2015.

UP NEXT:
The Bears will begin the SAC Conference Quarterfinal with a match against Queens on Tuesday Nov. 19 at 7 p.m.
