R.J. Gunn.

- Gunn, whose previous career-high was 29 points against Livingstone last year, went 15-for-26 from the field and added four boards and two assists. Gunn scored 29 of his 36 points in the second half.Â
- The Bears shot 53.3 percent from the field and knocked down eight 3-pointers.Â
- In this back-and-forth battle, neither team was able to lead by double digits. LR's biggest lead was nine points, while Clayton St. led by just four.Â
- Tyson McClain got out of the gates hot, scoring 12 of his 15 points in the first half. McClain finished the game with a team-high three made 3-pointers.Â
- Darius Simmons went 6-for-7 from the field and scored 15 points.
- Davion Bradford had eight points, eight rebounds and six steals and added another monster dunk to his ledger. Late in the second half, Bradford dunked on a Clayton St. player and got an and-one.Â
- Five players scored in double figures for the hosts, led by 23 from Mehdi Pissis.Â
