HICKORY, N.C. - Lenoir-Rhyne placed seven on the D2CCA All Super Region 2 team, headlined by senior DE
Jaquan Artis being named Regional Defensive Player of the Year.
Jaquan Artis - Regional Defensive Player of the Year
Artis leads the nation with 14.5 sacks and is fourth in Division II with 23 tackles for loss and has forced three fumbles. Artis is also a finalist for the Harlon Hill trophy along with being named a finalist for the Gene Upshaw Award. Artis was also selected to the First Team All-Region.

Kyle Dugger
Poe was selected as the South Atlantic Conference's Jacobs Blocking Trophy winner for the second straight season. The junior anchors a line that rushes for a league-best 268.2 yards per game which ranks seventh in Division II.
The Bears defense earned three first team all-region nods led by Artis. Horn ranks just behind the DE for the team lead in tackles with 77 and the LB has seven tackles for loss and four sacks to go with a pair of interceptions. Horn has added three fumble recoveries and a pair of forced fumbles. Despite missing six games, Dugger earned a spot on the First Team All-Region. The senior NFL prospect has 31 tackles, one tackle for loss and a pair of interceptions on the year.

Six of Starks' 13 catches on the year have gone for touchdowns and the TE is vital as a run blocker as well. Dugger earned a spot as a return specialist, running back a pair of punts for TDs and winning a National Special Teams Player of the Week honor. Louba earns his first career all-region selection after tallying 43 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and 10 sacks.
