HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Tennis Team won its third straight match, topping Emmanuel 4-3 on a cold Saturday afternoon.

Tom Rees. "Our teams were brave and played with great courage. to come out on top in a great battle and with tremendous adversity, it says a lot about our program."
HOW IT HAPPENED
LR started the afternoon off strong with wins in first and third singles, both coming with identical 6-3 scores.
In singles action, Emmanuel grabbed wins in each of the first three spots. However, the Bears depth showed and LR earned points in spots 4, 5, and 6.
Rhodri Atkinson took a 6-1, 7-5 victory in the fourth spot and
Lewis Scott won 6-0 and 6-0 in the sixth spot.
Shane O'Dea would clinch the victory in the number five spot, winning 6-4, 6-4.
