COACHES TAKE

"It was a strong performance from the guys today," said Head Coach Tom Rees. "We led from start to finish against a very good Limestone team. We were mentally resilient and positive at all times which was the key to victory today."

HOW IT HAPPENED

The warm afternoon was a perfect setting for the Bears who grabbed the point in doubles to surge ahead early. The duo of Shane O'Dea and Hamed Gandouz took a 6-1 victory in first singles and Mauricio Hernandez and Josh Lazenby clinched the point with a 6-4 win in the second spot.

The teams played to a result so three singles matches went unfinished as the Bears clinched a win with four points. Lazenby earned the win at the number two spot by scores of 6-2 and 6-1 and Paul Lenz wrapped up a straight-set victory in the number six spot. The clincher came at number three where Rhodri Atkinson won 6-2, 6-3 to send LR to its fourth straight win.
