HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Tennis Team ran its winning streak to four straight with a convincing 4-0 victory over Limestone on Tuesday afternoon. The Saints finished last season as the No. 27 ranked team but the Bears had little trouble dispatching them to improve to 7-1.

"It was a strong performance from the guys today," said Head Coach
Tom Rees. "We led from start to finish against a very good Limestone team. We were mentally resilient and positive at all times which was the key to victory today."
HOW IT HAPPENED
The warm afternoon was a perfect setting for the Bears who grabbed the point in doubles to surge ahead early. The duo of
Shane O'Dea and
Hamed Gandouz took a 6-1 victory in first singles and
Mauricio Hernandez and
Josh Lazenby clinched the point with a 6-4 win in the second spot.
The teams played to a result so three singles matches went unfinished as the Bears clinched a win with four points. Lazenby earned the win at the number two spot by scores of 6-2 and 6-1 and
Paul Lenz wrapped up a straight-set victory in the number six spot. The clincher came at number three where
Rhodri Atkinson won 6-2, 6-3 to send LR to its fourth straight win.
