HICKORY, N.C. The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse team picked up its first win of the season, defeating Tusculum 21-3 in a South Atlantic Conference matchup Saturday at Moretz Stadium. The win evens the Bears conference record at 1-1.

• Joe Buduo and Kyle Landis led the Bears with three goals apiece. Buduo also recorded three assists.
• Mitchell Linklater, Ryan Bell and Chris Hawkins each scored two goals.
• Linklater wasted no time getting the Bears on the scoreboard, notching the first goal of the game just 13 seconds into the contest.
• The Bears led 6-1 after the first quarter and held a 12-1 lead at halftime.
