Charlotte, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Team held a 10-7 lead late in the third quarter but No. 10 Queens rallied and sent the game into overtime with a goal with 13 seconds left in regulation. Jesse Oliver would net the game-winner with 2:07 left in overtime.

STATS OF THE GAME:

Joe Buduo scored a season-high four goals and is now in third in program history with 114 career goals. Buduo, who is the reigning South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, added an assist a ground ball and a caused turnover.

Eric Dickinson, who is fourth all-time in team history with 111 goals, netted a hat trick with all of his goals coming in the first half.

Ben Austin scored twice in the game and added an assist. On the defensive end,
Connor Stanley finished with five caused turnovers and grabbed six ground balls.
Weston Bimstefer also added six ground balls for the Bears.
• Queens scored five of the game's final six goals to complete the comeback victory. Taking advantage of an LR turnover, Queens' Reed Murphy sent the game to OT with a goal in the final seconds. The game-winner was slowed down by LR goalie
Noah Johnson but it eventually trickled past the goal line to give Queens the win.
• Queens held a 49-35 advantage in shots in the game and held a 33-31 advantage in in ground balls. Queens won 17 of the 25 face offs in the matchup.
• The Royals were led by a hat trick from Quinn Tallant and got two goals and one assist from Murphy and Oliver.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Queens now owns the all-time series over LR 7-6. The Bears had won six of the last seven in the series before today's loss.
• This is LR's fifth matchup against a nationally ranked team in 2019 as LR has played one of the toughest schedules in the nation.
